The CMAT Score of the candidates is computed using the following steps:
Step 1: The total number of correct answers is multiplied by 4 marks to calculate the initial score.
Step 2: Unanswered questions do not result in any marks being awarded or deducted.
Step 3: For each incorrect response, 01 (one) mark will be deducted from the total score.
Step 4: The resulting score represents the candidate's CMAT raw score.
Step 5: The raw score is further scaled and normalized by NTA, and each candidate is assigned a CMAT percentile based on their performance.

To calculate the CMAT percentile score, you can use the following formula:
Percentile P = (Number of candidates appeared in the examination with raw marks equal to or less than the candidate / Total number of candidates appeared) x 100
For example, if 10,000 candidates appeared in CMAT and a candidate scored the highest marks (365/400), their rank will be 1 and the CMAT percentile score will be:
Percentile P = (9999/10000) x 100 = 99.99
