How to Check NID DAT Results?
NID Cut off is the major criterion for the mains exam selection, which shall be published along with the results.
The NID entrance exam result is declared on 30% weightage of the prelims and 70% of the mains for the B.Des/ GDPD course.
The M.Des course is based on 20% weightage of the prelims and 80% weightage of the mains.

- Enter your registered E-mail ID and Date of Birth.

NID Result 2024 Rechecking Process
M.Des. DAT Prelims Exam 2024 rechecking was held between the time frame (1800 hrs 16 FEB 2024 to 1600 hrs 18 Feb 2024) only.
If you find any discrepancies in the NID result, you can request to recheck the prelims result soon after the declaration of the result.
You must pay Rs 2000/- as a rechecking fee for checking both NID DAT Prelims result 2024 and NID DAT mains results.
- STEP 1:- Visit the official website or the link above.
- STEP 2:- Click on the appropriate link of the “Login to submit Rechecking Request for M.Des. DAT Prelims Exam 2024”.
- STEP 3:- Now, enter your E-mail ID and Date of Birth, after entering all the details.
- STEP 4:- Click on the submit button.

The request for rechecking is entertained only if you have submitted the scanned copy of the admit card signed by the invigilator and the seal of the examination centre.

NID DAT 2024 Merit List
- THE NID DAT merit list is prepared category-wise; different lists are released for General, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, and PH category candidates.
- NID’s official website informs: “From the total number of applicants who have appeared for DAT, the number of candidates to be called for Stage 2 and Stage 3 of the exam will be calculated as no less than 3 X N where ‘N’ stands for the number of seats in that category for that program or discipline”.

Tie-Breaking Criteria for NID DAT 2024 Exam
If two students have secured the same marks in the NID entrance exam, then
- A higher rank is assigned to the one who has secured higher marks in the main exam.
- If the tie persists, rank is given to the one who scored more marks in the Stage - I Design Aptitude Test Part.
- If the tie still remains, a higher rank is given to the one who scores more marks in Stage - I Design Aptitude Test Part B
- If the tie still exists, then the higher rank will be awarded to the one who scores more marks in Stage - I Design Aptitude Test Part A
- If the tie still remains, a higher rank is given to the one who gets more marks in the question of the DAT mains exam, which carries maximum marks
