Number of IPMAT Seats 2025 at all IIMs

The candidates who pass the exam are selected on the basis of the number of seats available for the course. 

Every year, IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak conducts separate the IPMAT exam along with IIM Jammu and Bodhgaya conducting JIPMAT. 

IIMs accepting IPMAT scores are responsible for announcing the number of seats prior to the admission process.

The number of seats for IPMAT changes every year, on average IIM Indore and IIM Rohtak have approx. 150 and 165 every year, respectively.

The seats in the IPMAT are filled based on merit scores obtained in the entrance exam and the interview process and for some IIMs class 12th scores are also taken into account.

Note: The 12th-grade score is not accepted as a valid qualification for IPMAT Indore

The IPMAT Cut-off list is released along with the exam results on the official website. 

The category-wise IPMAT Cut-offs are released for General, OBC, SC, ST, PWD and EWS categories, depending on the seats available.

Apart from the Cut-off list, the institute also announces the number of seats available for the IPMAT exam in advance each year. Candidates can find the number of seats available for IPMAT on the institute’s official website.
