AIBE Exam Eligibility Criteria 2023

The Bar Council of India (BCI) prescribes the eligibility criteria of AIBE XVIII (18) for the candidates appearing for the AIBE Exam 2023. Educational Qualification

• To apply for AIBE XVIII (18), you must have completed a 3-year or 5-year LLB degree from a BCI-accredited institution.
• Candidates applying for AIBE XVIII (18) should have completed their 3-year LLB or 5-year LLB program from an institute recognized by the BCI. You must have completed your graduate program after July 1, 2015.

 Age Limits

• You must be enrolled with your respective State Bar Council and possess an Advocate Card.
• There are no minimum marks or age requirements to take the AIBE XVIII (18) exam.

Important:

• You must pass the AIBE Exam 2023 within two years of receiving your diploma. 
• If this does not occur within two years after graduation, you must re-register/enrol with the state bar council to take the AIBE exam.

 AIBE 2023 Result 

The BCI will declare the results of the AIBE XVIII soon after the exam. The AIBE Result only states the candidate's status since no rank card is released.

The result states the qualifying status of the candidate, i.e., Pass or Fail. 

• The Bar Council of India (BCI) issues a Certificate of Practice (CoP) if you pass the exam. This certificate is mandatory to practice Law, and Precisely, this certificate is a license to practice Law in India. 
• However, If you fail the examination, you can apply for rechecking of the AIBE Answer sheet for re-evaluation. 
• The last date for rechecking and related relevant guidelines is issued by the Bar Council of India (BCI).
• You can also appear in the next edition of the  AIBE Examination as there is no age bar.
• Also, note that there is no limit on the number of AIBE attempts, so you can re-appear in the exam if required.
